Paris is burning, and DC is chilly. We have seen a well planned, well executed and devastating attack in Paris. Islamic fanatics have killed scores and it appears to be a direct result of the plans and achievements of the leaders of the West.
“Refugees” from Syria, and radicalized Europeans have struck in the heart of France with bloody results.
In the US, reaction is mixed. Our president has resolutely refused to change course, with his administration standing firm in their plans to import tens of thousands of those very same refugees.
After years of minimizing the role of ISIS, and refusing to even say ‘Islamic Terror’ President Obama on Friday, the day of the massacre, was quoted once more with noted ignorance, claiming that ISIS was now contained, and not a growing threat. At the gathering of world leaders, the American president was noticeably late for the formal gathering for a memorial moment of silence to honor the dead from the ISIS assault.
Even today, when pressed by media, President Obama has steadfastly refused to respond forcefully, with this the most telling exchange:
“CNN’s Jim Accosta said…’I guess the question is, and if you’ll forgive the language is”Why can’t we take out these bastards”?
Obama scoffed at the question: “What I’m not interested in doing is posing or pursuing some notion of ‘American Leadership’ or America winning’ He said firmly”
This, then is pretty decisive and clear. This man, the president of the USA is NOT interested in victory by America.
Immediately following the attacks, Obama announced that he was releasing five Yemeni prisoners from Guantanamo, including the man who was Osama Bin Laden’s body guard. He appears bent on showing he cares more for Islamists than Americans.
Why is this? What can possibly be the answer?
Our president has sometimes been portrayed as being an islamist. He has denounced those who have questioned his Christian credentials. Recall the scrambling to rephrase and reframe this famous quote in an interview with George Stephanopolis, where he responded to a question with an answer about ” My Muslim Faith” ? If in fact, Obama had been raised as a Muslim by his father, then later in life he became Christian, then according to the Sharia law, he is an apostate. If this were the case, he would be subject to death by true believers. As it happens, there have not been calls for his death for this crime. Yet he continues to show more concern for defaming Islam than defending Christianity.
Answers range from his leftist upbringing, racialist philosophy, to Al Taqiyya.
But, in truth, the answers are irrelevant. The truth, the facts, are plain enough. As long as he is in command, Obama will not lead, will not permit America to win. He has stated plainly such. He must be thwarted, his successor must be someone capable of reversing his damage.
Keep the Faith!

One more bit of nonsense, one more news story not covered. How much did you see about Clinton’s recent visit to Egypt. Bet you missed all the networks coverage of her motorcade being pelted with rotten vegetables, bottles and shoes. (recall how many times the ‘shoe thrower’ with Pres Bush was replayed?) Also, the crowd was loudly chanting
“Monica! Monica! Monica!
This great show of respect and collegiality. One more display of modern civilized behavior from yet another country our government has allowed, well actually encouraged to be governed by the Religion Of Peace.

I know, it’s a familiar title, and not original.
this week in France, a Muslim terrorist attacked and killed jews, in he name of his religion.
He killed several elite french military men, and using a gun, held police at bay for hours, eventually jumping to his death, while continuing to shoot at the police who could not capture him.
first, all the major nets covered other stories first.
Muslim terrorist Can’t say that.
he used a gun.. They are supposed to be banned, thus unavailable in France, how’d that happen?
Third, he killed Jews… Thought they were the persecutors not victims. supposed to be running the world… not hunted and killed.
And he was a TERRORIST… Thought we were done with that.
Can’t shake up the fat happy sheep watching wheel of fortune and “the voice’ on their big screen Tv while cashing their second year of unemployment checks.
No way will the big shots in charge allow anything to shake these fat blobs of gelatinous lipids from their torpor. They might just fire up a dormant neuron long enough to understand they are being misled, and maybe one or two percent of them might actually resist their slavery.

Warning – This is long (for me), meandering, and quite possibly incoherent. Please do not mistake this for an official White House briefing or proposed legislation.
It is amazing to me, although I thought I was finished being shocked by the left. I Googled the phrase “Obama’s Guantanamo/al-Qaeda remarks” and it took me 10 minutes to find the actual remarks. I had to search Whitehouse.gov to find the text of the speech. All that came up on Google (at least the first 2 pages – which is all my attention span will allow me to look through) was the same silly blog being reposted all over the place. The blog was “Just Watch the Right Distort Obama’s Guantanamo/al-Qaeda Remarks”. They claim the President was saying Guantanamo was a propaganda and recruiting tool, and that the right has begun to twist his words. The same way the head of Homeland Security had her words twisted by being quoted? Maybe the same way Supreme Court nominees have their words twisted, by repeating them in their entirety with contextual explanation? Now I’ll grant them that President Obama said:
“For over seven years, we have detained hundreds of people at Guantanamo…. There is also no question that Guantanamo set back the moral authority that is America’s strongest currency in the world. Instead of building a durable framework for the struggle against al Qaeda that drew upon our deeply held values and traditions, our government was defending positions that undermined the rule of law. …. Meanwhile, instead of serving as a tool to counter terrorism, Guantanamo became a symbol that helped al Qaeda recruit terrorists to its cause. Indeed, the existence of Guantanamo likely created more terrorists around the world than it ever detained.”
The problem is he said that in May, 2009. What he said in January of 2010 was:
“But make no mistake: We will close Guantanamo prison, which has damaged our national security interests and become a tremendous recruiting tool for al Qaeda. In fact, that was an explicit rationale for the formation of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. And, as I’ve always said, we will do so — we will close the prison in a manner that keeps the American people safe and secure.”
Now the phrase “explicit rationale for the formation of al Qaeda” seems to my untrained ears to mean the reason they are there. If he wanted to say Guantanamo helped them recruit or helped raise sympathy in the Islamic world, I think he would have said it like that. You know, the way he did in May. Both speeches do a lot to tell you his mind set in dealing with this threat. Following the “explicit rationale” comments, he went into detail on how he will address security. The President warns us that al Qaeda is “constantly evolving and adapting their efforts to strike us”. The White House site also says what I hope is a typo: “As they refine our tactics, we’ll enhance our defenses”. People tell me I am overly critical of the President on this issue, so here I am going to rush to his side. He did not mean that al Qaeda is refining our tactics! They are not wondering into the White House, uninvited, and offering their opinions. I mean, no one gets in there like that! The President promises us “smarter screening and security at airports, and investing in the technologies that might have detected the kind of explosives used on Christmas”. Well, I am willing to help my country. I have an old laptop that is kind of slow, a little buggy, and needs an external keyboard attached to it, but it can run e-mail, a web browser, and word. I will happily provide this 21st Century anti-terror technology to the TSA so they can see if someone on multiple watch lists, buying a one way ticket in cash the day of the flight without a valid passport should be searched as thoroughly as I was the 3rd time I flew round trip from Philly to Colorado Springs in the same month.
In May, he really laid down the gauntlet. In that speech he stated “We are indeed at war with al Qaeda and its affiliates”. Hoo-rah! (Can’t you just hear R. Lee screaming that out maggot?) He followed it up with the caution on how to prosecute this war. “But we must do so with an abiding confidence in the rule of law and due process; in checks and balances and accountability.” Hoo-hah!
I don’t recall FDR demanding lawyers and checks and balances to combat the Nazi threat. I do not recall a stirring speech to Congress promising to bring Admiral Yamamoto to justice. I have spoken to many WWII vets, none of whom have ever issued a Miranda warning on the battlefield. But wait, he leans on some quasi historical precedent. “…the decisions that were made over the last eight years established an ad hoc legal approach for fighting terrorism that was neither effective nor sustainable — a framework that failed to rely on our legal traditions and time-tested institutions…” . Can anyone tell me what war the US waged with a reliance on “our legal traditions and time-tested institutions”? The American Revoloution? No. Civil War? Hmmmm, nope. Either World War? Don’t think so. Wait! I have it. The closest we came was in Vietnam. That’s the model we want to follow, right?
Well, if that didn’t strike fear in the hearts of our enemies, they did it today. They revoked the Visa of Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the man who tried to blow up 300 people on Christmas day. 12 days later, they revoked his visa. The Administration is sending a STRONG Clear statement! If you are a failed terrorist, we don’t want you here! And Gitmo, which of course is the main reason that al-Qaeda flourishes on the Arabian Peninsula, will ABSOLUTELY be closed! Sometime. Soon. Probably. We think, just don’t send them to Yemen. Or to Illinois because we can’t afford to buy lights and a new fence at the vacant state prison – fiscal responsibility is part of the new change in Washington remember!
Now there are some who will point to the cooperation of the Yemen government as evidence that Obama is gaining support around the world. It might seem like the approach to this as a legal issue and closure of Gitmo has garnered support in the Middle East. However, let’s take a deeper look. Since 2001, US military, not prosecutors, have driven the Taliban into the mountains. They have ripped Saddam from power and wrought havoc on the terror organizations that attempted to move into Iraq. The war was pushed away from our shores and towards the heart of Islamofascism. But why the sudden support of Yemen? There has also been support of the Saudis, who have launched air strikes against al-Qaeda on the Saudi/Yemeni border. In August of 2009, for the first time in decades, there was an attempted assassination of a member of the Saudi Royal Family. Al-Qaeda sent a suicide bomber tried to kill Prince Muhammad bin Nayef, assistant interior minister for security affairs, in his palace in Jeddah. Somehow I think this is far more likely to cause Saudi and Yemeni cooperation than a guarantee that someday Gitmo will close and the threat to deport every failed terrorist.
BTW – if anyone is still reading this, I feel sorry for you but wanted you to know one more thing. The reason I gave it the title I did was to hopefully get it in the mix of those other brain dead blogs that made me go on this rant. Have a nice day and go J-E-T-S-Jets Jets JETS!!!!

You all read of the killing this weekend, of a professor at Binghamton University in New York, right. It got all kinds of coverage. OK, maybe it didn’t, and that my friends is part of an increasing danger.
After all, when some random anthropology professor is killed in a ‘Senseless act of violence” it is always and everywhere front page news. 12 Action News, WBNG has the story, described this way:
University President Lois DeFleur issued this statement about Antoun’s death earlier this evening:
“This afternoon, in an act of senseless violence, the Binghamton University community lost one of its long-time faculty members…Our hearts go out to the Antoun family and we will provide them with as much assistance as we can in this time of sorrow,” said DeFleur.
Well, once you do some digging, this is surely not a random act, nor a senseless act of violence. The professor has written about fundamentalism among Christian, Muslim, and Jewish groups. He was killed by a man named Abdulsalam Al-Zahrani. Yet nowhere do we see any reference to this fact, which in our current world is certainly a relevant bit of information.
Atlas Shrugs blog has much detail on this.
We have a media which has become bound by political correctness and become controlled by editors and writers who simply refuse to see what is happening and are unwilling to print facts which do not fit their distorted world view.
The conflict between the world of Islamic Fascism and the desire of extremists to impose global Sharia is completely ignored by those who control the presses and broadcast studios. This is merely one aspect of the danger we face.
Look at the events of the last few weeks and the news as reported.
We had congress slam a healthcare bill, which will guarantee government control and indebtedness for generations to come. We had our President finally stop dithering and decide on a split the difference policy in Afghanistan. We had the greatest hoax of our time exposed, and what did we see printed on the front pages of the newspapers, headline virtually every television news broadcast?
Party crashers at the Whitehouse, and a golfer who cheated on his wife and crashed his car.
We can clearly see the importance of those two items, as opposed to the stories which were ignored and/or buried.
The really sad facts underlying all this is that most Americans seem not to notice. For a generation or more now our children have been spoon-fed an education designed to produce, not inquisitive, intelligent minds, but rather controllable easily led tools of the state. We are told over and over that ‘diversity’ means we are all the same, and there is no preferred viewpoint. From this view, the logic says we cannot condemn those who teach, speak and act on a view which literally calls for the destruction and replacement of our entire social system, the imposition of Sharia Law in all parts of the globe by violent and oppressive Muslim activists who hate our western values with a blinding passion. We are told we may not say or publish statements which will ‘offend’ them, or we will face discipline in the school or workplace.
This kind of false equivalence is what enables an angry Muslim Army Major to move with impunity to proselytize his patients, then to step up and kill those he despises, while commanders up to and including the Army Secretary call for ‘understanding’ and whimper that this might hurt diversity in the military.
I am at a loss here. Our leaders in government, in the media, in business seem willing to sell out American Citizens to a world government bent on achieving economic control using lies and false climate science. Our teachers and leaders bow ( Literally bow down to foreign leaders!!!)
to those who would destroy us.
Our president insists on negotiation with nations who despise freedom, and insist they will never surrender their goals to destroy America and our allies, as with the North Koreans and the Iranians.
Time and again our nation is threatened, and time and again our media present us with another celebrity story and another episode of dancing with stars.
It is past time to react. It is past time to halt this. We hold elections under the mistaken idea that one party is different than another, when the truth is that both parties are loyal to themselves and not to the Constitution they swear to uphold. It is time for Americans who care to take a stand. One group which seems to be moving in the right direction is ” Get Out of Our House“. If they do what they are promising, there will be a chance to vote “None of the above’ and sweep all incumbents out of DC and start again.
Barring the creation of such a slate of candidates, I am beginning to think the alternative is simply to say “if you are in office now, I will vote for your opponent’. Vote against ANY incumbent.
Anyone else have any ideas? We need them, and we need them NOW.
I fear that without some sort of political, peaceful change soon, we may face something far worse, and far more dangerous.
Inaction is no longer an option. We must reverse the course. Failure will move us toward destruction. Either from external danger or from within from those who will grow increasingly angry with the status quo. And those extremists come from all areas of the political spectrum. There will be no clean hands on left or right if we cannot pull back from this abyss.
Keep the Faith

Over the last few years we have heard increasing debate as to the status of the United States of America as a ‘Christian Nation’. While touring the world and apologizing to sundry nations and aggrieved groups for the behavior of America throughout history. In his speech in Turkey in April President Obama stated flatly that
“We do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values.”
He “carefully calibrated” his language, but clearly has internalized the recent academic ideals that the First Amendment bars all religion rather than preventing the Federal Government from banning them. While this has been debated, other events have transpired around the nation. The steady and incremental creep of Muslim Sharia has made strong and decisive advances into all areas of American society. Killings of young women have been deemed ‘ Honor Killings’, a terrifying combination of words which should defy understanding. Various universities across the country are using state and student funds to install ‘ritual footbaths’ to allow Muslim students to perform explicitly religious acts funded by the Universities. In a startling contrast, Minneapolis Community and Technical College has plans to install such foot washing stations, while at the same time it prohibited campus coffee carts from playing Christmas Music. The New York Times detailed the foot bath issue in 2007.
Recently there was a coordinated move in March of that same year in Target Stores. It seems that groups of devout Muslim workers in Target stores began to refuse to process orders with merchandise containing pork. Target switched those workers to other jobs so as not to force even a small conflict with their professed beliefs. Likewise, cab drivers in Minneapolis who were of Somali Muslim origin were refusing to allow passengers in their cabs who they believed to be carrying liquor.
In each of these cases we see a creeping accommodation to the beliefs of Muslims and thier expressed religious beliefs.
With all this as a backdrop comes news from New York that a devout Catholic nurse, with her objections previously on file in writing was coerced into participating in an abortion at Mt. Sinai hospital. The New York Post has details here. It clearly is not difficult to see the contrast. The act of permitting someone to purchase pork products is not the same as being forced to consume them. Allowing someone to carry a bottle of whisky is not the same as drinking it. Abortion has become a fundamental issue to Roman Catholics, and participation in the procedure is a grave moral issue to believers. Yet the Obama administration has moved to dilute and overturn previously established ‘conscience clauses’ which provided protection for health workers who for reasons of faith refuse to engage in certain practices.
No, Mr. Obama is correct. The USA is no longer an explicitly Christian nation. We no longer draw our moral guidance from the principals of the Founders. While not all were devout Christians, they never the less drew guidance from ‘ Nature’s God’ and the Creator. Certainly they were not motivated by the ‘ pillars of Islam’. However, increasingly throughout the country, due to an overdone sensitivity to offending, we are allowing those who practice Islam to establish themselves and their faith and it’s rules in a preferred place in our culture. No, we are not a Christian nation. But absent someone paying attention and making an effort, we will slide slowly and unerringly into becoming a Muslim Nation. The Communists often were quoted as saying that the capitalists would sell the rope used to hang them. Well, we are becoming so solicitous of those who would destroy our culture that we are willingly dismantling it for them.

It’s been an interesting couple of weeks in the world. And of course, our leader, the Great and Powerful Obama has been right there, in the thick of things, saving the world. Let’s have a look around and see what’s been done.
First of all Pres. Obama has continued to strengthen ties with our key allies. His press spokesman spoke movingly of the integrity of the British press, and in return they lauded praise upon him. After all, we all have been told over and over that “The Europeans Love Obama” and that will make it so much easier for him to solve the problems of the world. Here’s how Mr. Gibbs discussed the British Press:
I want to speak generally about some reports I’ve witnessed over the past few years in the British media. And in some ways, I’m surprised it filtered down,” Gibbs began. “Let’s just say if I wanted to look up — if I wanted to read a writeup today of how Manchester United fared last night in the Champion’s League cup, I might open up a British newspaper. If I was looking for something that bordered on truthful news, I’m not entirely sure it’d be in the first pack of clips I’d pick up.”
“You’re not going to find very many of these newspapers and truth within 25 words of each other,” Gibbs continued.
Of course, this was all just taken in jest, as The Great and Powerful Obama is adored all over the globe. Here is an example of the adulatory response generated by his hilarious spokesman’s comments:
For all its talk of “raising America’s standing” in the world after the Bush years, the Obama administration is doing a spectacularly bad job of reaching out to its allies. Unfortunately this is the new face of America’s public diplomacy, which will only serve to alienate public opinion across the Atlantic. Congratulations Gibbs – you’ve just made an enemy out of the entire British media, quite an achievement for the man in charge of selling the President’s message.
Yes, he’s building great relationships, and making great decisions all the time. And he’s SOO on top of everything too. We know, for example that he is brilliant. After all, he taught ‘Con law’ and was graduated from Harvard right? His brilliant brain holds so much information. Recall that he has promised to review the federal budget “line by line’ and eliminate any and all wasteful spending. He must know everything there is to know about the government and administration of the United States. But, then what about all those pesky intelligence and information divisions? How’s THIS for brilliance? While once more taking the ever vigilant press corps out to lunch at yet another swanky burger joint, our Commander in Chief met someone who works for the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency. He apparently had absolutely no idea what it is, or that it’s part of the Defense Department charged with developing and interpreting vital satellite imagery for the military and intelligence communities.
Obama: So explain to me exactly what this National Geospatial…uh…
Walter: Uh, we work with, uh, satellite imagery..
Walter: [unintelligible] …support systems, so…
Obama: Sounds like good work.
Walter: Enjoy the weekend.
Obama: Appreciate it.
Ok, so we see how totally brilliant and on top of things our president is regarding the internal workings of the government he says he will run with total control and dedication. How about international affairs with other than Europeans who adore and worship him. ( We see the great affection he’s generated in Britain) How about our critical ally in the Middle East. The Great and Powerful Obama had a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Mr. Netanyahu has been there, done that. He organized a commando squad that fought for the survival of their nation while our President Organized communities. They had their private meeting where it was anticipated the Great Obama would use his charm to persuade Mr. Netanyahu to go along with plans to meet and talk nice with the various Palestinian and Arab groups which seek to exterminate Bibi’s nation and people. Apparently things did not go the way Obie planned. The traditional post meeting press conference was a gold mine for students of body language. The leader of the Free World sat stiffly, never glancing at his guest once during the questioning and recounting of their ‘frank discussion’. He stammered and dodged any questions of substance. Meanwhile, Israel’s leader sat stoically, staring directly at his chastened counterpart. His body language was more like that of a boxer during a pre-fight press conference looking at the latest tomato can put in front of him before he can fight for the title. Clearly, he knew he had to put this man in his place. At this point the policy of the United States in the Levant is reduced to something akin to begging that if they decide to go to war against Iran, would they please at least think of calling and telling us before they win so we can claim some credit.
The campaign is long over, yet Obama continues to pepper his policy speeches with finger pointing and blame fixing. ” We didn’t mess this up, the guy before us did it!’ ” We inherited a mess, and we’re not sure what to do yet”. As he is confronted with the reality of events in his role as President of The United States Mr. Obama has begun to shrink and step away from any engagement. Nations and world leaders are not the same thing as small community groups pleading for someone to help them out. He simply cannot vote ‘present’ when a true crisis emerges.
Look to the latest fire burning on the world stage in Asia. The ever agreeable Comrade Kim decided that talks with the ‘multilateral group’ were not progressing as fast as he wished. So, to increase the spirit of community he set off a nuke and began firing missiles in all directions. He warned the US and South Korea not to ‘provoke him’. Of course this brought swift and decisive action. The Secretary of State of the United States thundered with anger that such actions would surely bring about some serious consequences. Not to be outdone, the UN, that wellspring of decisive action offered to print a statement that would say stern words to the Norks, and might even consider discussing the possibility of potentially increasing sanctions on the already crushingly impoverished nation.
In response to all these terrifying threats Crazy Kim Jong Il puts on a new pair of designer shades and shouts something that translates roughly as : ” Booga Booga BOOGA” and everyone in the world backs up a couple of steps because he’s so scary. Except of course the incredibly calm and reasonable Achmedinajad in Iraq, who inches closer and says, ” Please, please can I have some too!” Kim is not merely making threats, he’s poking a stick in the eyes of the ‘multilateral nations’ and seeing if they will take it away from him or let him sharpen it and try again. The thing to remember is that in Iran they are watching to see what happens. If Kim and his sunglasses are allowed to bask in the nuclear glow with no restrictions, then Achmedinijad will put on a brand new ‘Members Only’ jacket and set off his own fire crackers knowing that no one has the stones to do anything about it. Once he opens the throttle it will signal the beginning of a mad race throughout all the other regimes in the area. The various Arab chieftains would all want their own personal glow in the dark kits to balance out the ‘Twelvers’ in Tehran. Mahmoud the Mad in sole possession of nukes in the Middle East is as much a nightmare for the Syrians and Saudis as it would be for the US. he might just decide it’s time to shake things up for real so his favorite hidden teen age Imam can emerge from some well hidden in the badlands of Iraq and restore the ‘peaceful and beautiful’ rule of his particular flavor of Shiite Islam upon the burning embers of the post nuke dust that remains.
Boy, I sure am glad that we have such an engaged and powerful leader in the White house right now. He’s done so much to calm things. Maybe next week he can take the North Koreans out for burgers, maybe that will fix things. After all, why can’t we all just get along?
Keep the Faith!

Consider Ms. Carrie Prejean who, by all accounts is a beautiful young woman, driven and focused to win. Her chosen venue is various competitions, Beauty Pageants. She won the title of Miss California in March of this year. These contests, while playing up the angle of question and answer, community activity and involvement are still dedicated to finding and promoting physically attractive women.Certainly there are personality and intellect requirements in the modern era, as the contestants now are thrust into a media whirlwind as soon as their names are disclosed. They choose this life for themselves. The attention, pressure and constant scrutiny are a given, and any woman who cannot take such focus will not long survive.
There was a tempest stirred up when one of the judges of the 2009 Miss USA contest asked her a question about her views on homosexual marriage.
Vermont recently became the fourth state to legalize same-sex marriage. Do you think every state should follow suit. Why or why not?
Note of course that Mr. Hilton is known as a gay rights activist. (We will not discuss here if it makes sense that a gay man should be a judge of a female beauty contest) Miss Prejean gave a carefully worded reply which reflected her personal opinion:
Well, I think it’s great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage …. And you know what, in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offence to anybody out there, but that’s how I was raised and that’s how I think it should be – between a man and a woman. Thank you very much.
Let’s be clear here: This was a question in the “Personality” competition section of a beauty contest. She was asked a question by a celebrity judge, one who brought his personal baggage to bear in his judgements and influence. Miss Prejean gave a personal opinion as an answer, hedged her response carefully allowing that anyone could make their own choice, and moved on. Mr. Hilton however, would have none of it. On his personal blog, immediately after that exchange used a coarse term to refer to her, and stated later that he would have ‘ripped the tiara off her’ had she won. He also told ABC news that before that question she was the front runner, but afterward there was no way she would win
Clearly she was penalized for her spoken views. She made no mention of intent to force others to accept her views, to make them law, nor to prevent others from acting or legislating anything different. She has subsequently been the focus of attacks and a campaign to discredit her. All this because of her spoken words on a televised program in the United States
Consider also radio talk host, Michael Savage. He is a man of varied background and experience. He published several books under the name of Michael Weiner he has several degrees, including a PhD in something called “Nutritional Ethnomedicine.” His radio persona, Michael Savage, host of the “Savage Nation” rails on various topics, focused upon a mantra of ” Borders, Language, Culture.” He attacks liberals, and those he believes are destroying the historic culture of America. He surely does not sugar coat his views, and his show has grown to be among the top five radio talk shows in the nation. His language is blunt, his opinions are fiercely held, and he simply will not allow dissenting callers to win. Particularly since the 9/11 attacks, he has sharpened the stick he uses to poke into the eye of his opponents. He uses what his detractors call offensive terms to demonize Islamic terrorists, democrats and liberals in government, and essentially anyone who disagrees with him. His intent to offend and bring on attacks was clearly demonstrated by the title of his NY Times best selling book ” Liberalism Is A Mental Disorder”. He clearly relishes the controversy.
Yesterday the British Government published a list of “Named and Shamed” people who would not be permitted to enter Britain. Jacqui Smith, Home Secretary published a list of names, stating that those named were barred from entry under a law introduced in 2005. The most famous application of the law was the prohibition of a Dutch member of Parliament, Geert Wilders, who had been invited by the British Parliment to present a short film about the dangers of radical Islamic terrorists. The reason given by Home Secretary Jacqui Smith was that his entry might incite others to violence, due to his record of anti Islamic remarks and the film he was invited to present to the British Parliament.
On that new list just released is none other than Michael Savage. It seems the land which gave the Magna Carta to the world now gives blacklists due to ‘offensive topics.’ Mr. Savage has announced plans to sue. England, which has libel laws which are quite different than those in the US, will provide a venue which makes his victory quite likely. Unless, of course he is prevented from suing because of his offensive views.
We live in a time which is turning concepts of civilization inside out. Those who advocate for the destruction of our societies and government are given protected status. Those who speak against them are demonized and pushed aside, their views labeled as ‘too shocking’ to be permitted. Dissent is only allowed on one side of the debate. Political issues are supposed to be the area of free wheeling and open debate. Now, in the two nations which blazed the path of freedom and open societies, minority opinions are the only opinions permitted.
We are being pulled along on a path to disintegration by an increasingly militant left which is abetted by activist courts and compliant legislators. The Federal Government is expanding scope and influence and crushing the liberty of individuals and the states which originally formed the nation. Politicians no longer stand on principle, or ideas, they run simply to obtain, and maintain a seat at the table of power. This was amply demonstrated by Senator Specter’s shift to the donkey party from the elephants. He made no attempt to disguise his reasons, he has openly said he knew he would lose his primary this year, and changed parties to keep his seat in the US Senate. In the past, this would have subjected him to rage and a demand that he resign. Now it is greeted with a shrug from his constituents, and a pat on the back from his media allies and his new party cronies.
There must be a way for Americans who revere the founding principles of this nation to regain the momentum. We who believe that the Constitution was created to protect us from intrusive and oppressive government must find a way to restore that balance. We must look again to Thomas Jefferson:
“When governments fear the people there is liberty. When the people fear the government there is tyranny.”- Thomas Jefferson
Keep the Faith!

Not many have missed the disgusting racial vitriol spewed by the Reverend Jeremiah Wright. Not many have missed the “repudiation” from Barack Obama. What is it exactly that this represents and what does it mean to Christianity and to the United States? I will seek to analyze the meaning.
First, I must preface this document with what Christianity means overall to the non-radical. Jesus came for souls and yes, to end slavery. What’s that you say? He came to end slavery? Well yes, but careful now, lest we lose his message in this one statement. Jesus came to free man (all of man folks) from the slavery of sin. No more than this slavery of sin, no less. Jesus was specifically ignored, as the messiah, by the Jewish religious leaders because they expected, specifically, a conqueror and political messiah. What they misinterpreted, in the opinion of the Christian faith, is the nature of the prophecy and the nature of the messiah.
Now understanding this nature of The Messiah in the Christian Faith, we understand that indeed the Jews were subjugated by the Romans, yet Jesus made no attempt to address this. Jesus specified he came to open up the kingdom of God through his sacrifice. He did not come to free physically, the Israelites. Do we then understand, now, the reason some Jewish religious leaders helped to crucify him?
If Jesus did not physically free the Israelites, then should we consider Jesus specifically addressing the issue of the subjugation of the Africans? Would Jesus address this or would he again be concerned with their immortal souls? Is there again a misunderstanding of why Jesus came? What would Jesus say in this day and age about a past subjugation that no longer exists? I strongly doubt Jesus would come here with that specific endeavor in mind. Why then would a man who represents and purports to repeat the words of God, and his son Jesus Christ, have the audacity to hope that Jesus would speak these words? As a spokesman for the word of God and Jesus Christ, he should then be concerned as Jesus was, for the immortal souls of his “flock”. Is the hateful language something Jesus would use? Jesus was the one who spoke repeatedly of forgiveness. The messiah addressed his disciples on turning the other cheek and forgiveness numerous times. Jesus spoke the words “forgive them” while dangling from a cross bleeding profusely.
How then do we get to this point in a Christian church where hate and divisive language are cheered on by the congregation? Remember, the pastor, or priest, passes on the words of the Lord. Are these the words of the Lord? No they are not the words of the Lord, and as a matter of fact Mark 13:5 says “ And Jesus answering them, began to say, ‘Take heed lest any one may lead you astray’ ”. Even further in Mak 13, Jesus says to his disciples, “And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect”. The words of Wright are misleading, sure enough, and not of the Lord. Make no mistake about this. Making these statements in church and in the name of God is directly mentioned when Jesus mentions “false Prophets”.
Sermons, like those of the “Reverend” Wright, sound more like the vitriol and hate spewed from the Blind Sheik or speeches videotaped and sent out from Osama Bin Laden. The same hate for other groups of people can be found right in the radical mosques around the world. Are we seeing an emergence of a Radical Christianity much like the Wahhabi sect of Islam? What started as a radical group has spread throughout the world and throughout the Muslim world, like a cancer. Will we hail the days of Reverend Wright as the beginning of Radical Christianity? Will we then see your “typical white person” assaulted on the streets or blown up with car bombs in retaliation for “creating the AIDS virus to kill blacks”?
With divisive and vitriolic words from what the black community hails as its prominent leaders, what are we to think of the black community? Is this feeling much the same we have for Islam? Without those specifically speaking out against the hatred, then do we consider silence, agreement? Do we not consider the same for Islam? Hymie town, Zionists, Jewish being referred to as the diamond merchants, white greed, typical white people, and white conspiracy are all things we hear from Reverend Al Sharpton, Reverend Jesse Jackson, Islamic minister Farrakhan, and Reverend Jeremiah Wright. So exactly when do we consider what the real thoughts of the black community might be?
Jesus spoke of love and forgiveness. Osama Bin Laden, Muqtada Al-Sadr, “Reverends” Jackson, Wright, Sharpton, and Farrakahn, all speak of division and anger at past ills, and propagate hate and ill will. I see no difference between all of these people, except one, the Lord Jesus Christ. I find myself listening to the words from these “Christian” pulpits and ask myself the well recognized words, “what would Jesus do?”. I am surprised that these latter named “Christian men of God” do not seem to consider what Jesus would say or do. I do notice one other difference between the Lord and these other men. Christ had no personal wealth or possessions, yet these men who spout hate then foment anger, more hate, and riots, all live in houses like those the “rich white men” live in or have extremely large bank accounts. Wright speaks of white greed, yet when reverend Wright lives in a million dollar home with a 10 million dollar line of credit, I would say that is rich and a bit greedy. Note Wright’s attack on “the pursuit of middleclassness”, and his far surpassing it on the way to riches. Perhaps the hate and division is a means to an end for wealth or power, neither of which Jesus sought. Perhaps the black community should consider the words of God and his son Jesus Christ for themselves, rather than be led like lemmings, over the cliffs of hate, fear, anger, and envy by those who seek personal gain on the backs of their congregations.
What this means for the Christian church and the United States is division, racial violence, and possibly a future for Christianity that bears even more of a resemblance to Islam and the violence done in its name. This is in a stage that should be addressed before it reaches the epidemic magnitude that radical Islam has reached. I implore the congregations of churches and the people of the United States to ask themselves what means to an end the hate spouted from religious leaders brings. Who benefits and who suffers? What would Jesus say, folks? Remember that the next time you attend church. It’s a litmus test I think we all should apply.
