Forty Seven to run EVERYTHING

Posted by revkharma on September 10, 2015

For the record, I am not a follower of ‘numerology’. I don’t believe in horoscopes or most of the end times prophesies that pop up every year or so like so many whack a moles. But there is one number that has caught my attention. It’s an important number, and a far smaller than I would have imagined.  I’ll tell you about it quickly, then tell me what you think.

Forty Seven is a magical number. It is a DANGEROUS number.

That is the total number of people who are needed to destroy our republic. 1 president who is willing to act via executive decree. 5 supreme court justices willing to vote against clear language in Constitution  to enable that executive  to continue. 41 senators willing to vote to “filibuster ” to block any legislation which might rein in the lawlessness.
Of course there is a pair of spineless congressional leaders, one in the house and one in the Senate who will lay down and not fight to defend what they pretend their party  stands for.

Questions That Need To Be Asked

Posted by revkharma on November 9, 2014

We have seen a new name floated for AG, Loretta Lynch is a prosecutor from NY.

Without question, she will be biased and partisan. That is part of the deal with this administration.
A few questions should be asked, in my opinion.
1. Do you support the current goals and plans to administratively refuse to prosecute immigration crimes, and will you support executive amnesty?
2. How will your deep ties to the Clinton Administration and your representation of Bill and Hillary Clinton during the Whitewater investigations affect your objectivity?
3. If presented with information and evidence which implicates those who preceded you in this office in potentially illegal or unconstitutional acts during the gun walking, or IRS investigations would you be willing to prosecute such former administration actors?
4. Will you state now, for the record, that you support a fair and neutral application and interpretation of EEOC and 14th amendment issues, and agree to follow truly race blind policies and practices while conducting the business of the United States as Attorney General?
5. What is your position on and interpretation on the Second Amendment?
======================
Think anyone in either party would have the C O Jones to ask those questions during confirmation hearings?
If so, think there is a chance in hell of getting any of them answered?

You Didn’t Build That…

Posted by revkharma on July 20, 2012

If you’ve got a business — you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet. ( B. Obama, 7/13/2012)

Tutto nello Stato, niente al di fuori dello Stato, nulla contro lo Stato (“Everything in the State, nothing outside the State, nothing against the State”) (B. Mussolini, 5/26/1927)

I have been inactive a while, but am compelled to return to my keyboard. Hearing the comments lately from our President gave me a sense of deja vu, and I went back to find the quote which it seemed to echo. I admit, it’s not exact, but it’s of a piece with the governing philosophy displayed by this adminstration.

So often when Mr. Obama says something ridiculous, his opponents rise and compare him to Hitler, or to Stalin, or call him a socialist, or a communist. While there are similarities in his politics to communism, the most clear comparison has got to be with Italian Fascism.

I don’t know why so many rush to the bait of the left. Obama is not hitler, he is not Stalin. ( aside from the fact that he is neither as intelligent, nor ruthless, and not even as charismatic).
From the inception of his campaign, the comparison to Mussolini and his collectivist, statist ideology has been clear.
His use of the coercive power of the state, eg the auto ‘bailout’…which was flat out a government take over.
The government funding, then abandonment of companies like Solyndra are close parallels to the ‘golden shares’.
Fascism is not about ‘goose stepping Nazi troops of the right wing’ it is about quasi private business being controlled by government.
The government tells business how to act, if the business fails, then government blames the fat cats. If it succeeds, then government takes credit, and takes more control. And those connected to the elite continue to make money while demonizing those who don’t follow their directives.
This is not communism, it is the original, true and clear fascism, as originally practiced by Mussolini and the Fascisti.

Even as popular site as Wikipedia in it’s article about Fascism rings loudly with comparisons.

After 1929, the Fascist regime countered the Great Depression with massive public works programs, such as the draining of the Pontine Marshes, hydroelectricity development, railway improvement

( Stimulus Bill anyone)

One truly interesting link: After forcing Chrysler into bankruptcy, the Obama administration and it’s ‘auto Czar’ sought out and found a new buyer for the recreated, and government controlled entity .

Government controlled Chrysler corp got a new partner, which was none other than fascist created and controlled Fiat Motors. Interesting how things come full circle sometimes, isn’t it?

In 1933, the Istituto per la Ricostruzione Industriale (IRI — Institute for Industrial Reconstruction) was established to subsidize failing companies,

(Tarp, auto bailout? Solyndra)

Look, we have to face facts. What we are seeing is the realization of a corporatist form of governance, enacted not by a doctrinaire marxist, but by someone simply craving power. This president condemns the actions of others, while simultaneously behaving in exactly the same way.

His allies in the donkey party cheer him on, knowing that they will continue to expand their personal empires. The elephant party plods along, mostly saying not so fast, not so fast, but not changing direction, only the speed with which government and the super rich like Warren Buffet take over as much as they can.

There is only possible answer, and that is to vote out any incumbent who has consistently increased the power and finances of the Central government in DC.

Senate majority leader..heave him out.

Speaker Boehner.. send him home to weep quietly to himself in a tanning booth in Ohio.

We need real change, so we can once again believe in our government.

Keep the Faith!

Comeback Victory or Sham?

Posted by revkharma on November 5, 2009

So, it’s time to celebrate, isn’t it? The good guys scored some big hits and stole some thunder from the Omabites on election day 2009. Team Obama got beat back, and the libs  have been taught a lesson.  Time to party, to look to who won and plan to continue the winning strategy into the mid-term elections in 2010. After all the good guys came out on top!

Only there’s a flaw in all of this. Look who won and how didn’t. Sure, the Republican Party took a couple of seats from Democrat governors. But the way things are going that’s like being chased by a cheetah, and thinking you are safe when a leopard takes his place behind you. One may run faster, but either one will eventually catch you and then, lights out.

In the now infamous NY 23 house race, the Democrat Party took over a seat which was renowned as a safe republican seat for decades. Note that: ” a SAFE republican seat”.  (of course the seat was held by a democrat in 1993, but that’s a minor detail, isn’t it?) That means essentially one party rule in that district. Perhaps that’s why when Ms Dede  Scozzafava ran and called herself a Republican, the party rewarded her with nearly a million dollars in campaign funds, ignoring her liberal political stance on most issues.

As the election neared, and the Conservative Party of New York ( CPNYS) endorsed Doug Hoffman the two major parties tried their best to ignore him. As he gained ground, eventually garnering better poll results than either ‘major party’ candidate, the very liberal Scozzafava withdrew. The party of elephants then said they would support the conservative. Dede did not agree, and the one time nominee of the Republican Party of New York cast her support to the nominee of the donkey party. After having denounced him during the entire campaign, the Republicans now embraced  Hoffman. This is NOT because they embraced his positions. It was mere expediency, hoping to maintain a share of the seat to which they felt entitled. Remember, this is a “safe republican seat for decades”.

Down State, in Manhattan, the estimable billionaire Mike Bloomberg was running for a third term. Nevermind that the laws of New York City have prohibited  more than two consecutive terms for years. You see, Mr. Bloomberg could not imagine that anyone could run the city as well as he has done. Despite two separate votes in which the residents of NYC have voted to maintain a two term limit for their mayor, Bloomberg went to the city council, not the voters.  A compliant city council agreed to change the rules, and allowed Mr. Bloomberg to run again. Not by vote, but by fiat did Bloomberg get his way. Inconvenient laws are just waived away. Even the immensely popular Rudy Giuliani would not do such a thing, during the scary times after 9/11. He followed the rule of law and simply turned the office to his successor.  It is interesting to note that Bloomberg is reported to have spent more than $100 MILLION of his own money to gain this re-election.

See, the problem here is not liberal versus conservative parties, it’s not donkeys and elephants. The problem is accumulation of power and the sense that those who currently hold office are entitled to those offices. This sense of ownership betrays the entire mindset. It really doesn’t matter if you color your state ‘blue’ or ‘red’ or purple. It does not matter if you show up to speak wearing an elephant head or a donkey head during your campaign. As long as you are part of the club, you are in. Not the interests of the nation, nor the American People, the primary concern maintaining their elitist grip on power.  The two major parties are now so concerned with getting and keeping power that they will simply act in the interest of party rather than in the interest of the nation.

The secret is revealed by the results of the special election in the 23rd district of NY.  As soon as the seemingly opposed parties saw their place at the table threatened, they reacted. Actual citizens seemed on the brink of taking control of their own government. Those annoying ‘Tea Party” people were crushing the established party candidates. Only one thing to do: Dump the fake elephant,  have her endorse the donkey and at all costs, do not allow an outsider to get a place at the table. The future of the two party system is on display in New York.  The election results for NY -23 and NYC Mayor Bloomberg show the length the major parties will extend themselves to maintain their grip on the levers of political power.

I am taking a close look at an organization that seems, at first glance to have this concept in mind.  “Get Out of Our House” is a growing grass-roots organization whose entire goal is to fund and elect outsiders.  I suggest you take a look around and see what you think. I have just begun to read through, but so far I like what I see.  Please, check them out.

Please, do something. Just pay attention. We are seeing our government corrupted and the ‘Two Party system” turned into a fiction used to hold oligarchs in power. If we do nothing, we will have a government little different from that currently pretending to be a democracy in Russia.

Keep the Faith.

The Pay Czar And Illegal Acts

Posted by revkharma on October 23, 2009

So, Kenneth Feinberg is ordering steep cuts in the compensation of various bank and financial executives.  Clearly there is no constitutional foundation for this incredible power grab by the White House. Mr. Feinberg, who apparently rejects the nickname of ” Pay Czar” but not the authority of the role will use this power regardless. He claims only the highest of motives. He is trying only to recoup the bail out money given to the banks already.  He is simply a steward of taxpayer funds.

Many in all positions of the political spectrum will forgive this one time intrusion. After all, they reason, the banks DID take federal money, now they have to dance to the federal tune.

I see some problems with this. First, as many accounts have shown there was little choice on the part of most of the execs who took funds. Stories abound of the closed-door pressure meeting in which GW Bushes treasury secretary essentially forced the major banks to take money, in order not to taint only one financial institution.  Secondly there was no valid authority for the Treasury to use taxpayer money to save, and essentially buy private corporations.  All this was cloaked in a blanket of  ‘temporary emergency’ but emergency is not a valid reason to void constitutional principles.

Finally history shows us that once the federal government takes a new power it is rarely surrendered.  Using the broad and nearly limitless powers found hidden in the ‘Interstate Commerce Clause’ the federal government has taken control of vast chunks of the private economy in the name of exigent circumstances and never relinquished the shackles once placed.  Using the doctrine of Eminent Domain, much private property has essentially been taken from owners simply for the benefit of others. See for example the now infamous Kelo case. The socialists in congress now will use this as a template for future action. Once the public is shown that the government has such a power, regardless of the extra-constitutional origin of such powers, the government will simply continue to use it. Saying,  ‘ well we have done it before’ is often the only justification for future abuses.

The public at large, intentionally educated to be ignorant of constitutional principles and the proper rule of law, will simply assume that as long as it is some  ‘rich guy’s bonuses’ getting clipped  they are in no danger of it affecting them.  The history of creeping use of ill gained power shows that it will be a matter of when, not if, congress begins to extend the power to regulate the pay of private citizens compensation.

Feinberg is an abomination. His power is absolute. There is only one appeal to is rulings. And Feinberg himself hears the appeal. Unlikely that he will overrule himself.

Keep the Faith.

Why Is All This REALLY Being Done?

Posted by revkharma on August 17, 2009

Bailout, Cap and Trade, Stimulus,  Government take over of Auto industry, Government take over of financial services industry, Pay czar, science czar, green czar Fix the broken health care system…

Why is so much happening at once.  So many things happening, it’s tough to track all of it. So many different areas being adjusted, tweaked, tinkered with.

Remember the campaign rhetoric of then Senator Obama? We will remake America.  Just how is he planning that? Look to all his agenda items, and you can see just what’s going on, but if you take a few steps back you can see the pattern all this activity begins to form.

All of this is done with one main theme, a hidden framework which supports all the trinkets sparkling on Obama’s goodie tree. Liberty.

Obama and his progressive allies, from Alinsky on down are opposed to individual ordered liberty.  By offering to have the government ‘take care’ of the needs of so many troubled Americans, he will help you right into ordered slavery.

Liberty is about individual freedom, but it is also about individual responsibility. When you surrender the responsibility to care for your medical needs, you surrender the liberty to do so also.  You give some government system the authority to decide what is good for you, and you give up the right to say that for yourself.

A perfect illustration of this would be what has happened to the care of the needy. In days past, local communities would band together, Helping neighbors, or providing for those who had been hit by some dire event and help them out.  Think back to ‘olden times’ and the stories of ‘barn raisings’ in rural communities.  Think to church run soup kitchens, and similar operations. All this has been replaced by government run or funded systems, such as AFDC, WIC or medicaid programs. All are funded by government. As  the big government Leviathan has expanded, taking on the responsibility for such tasks, it has taken control, and individuals have provided less and less for their own neighbors. Taxes, taken by force ( Do you think if you said, ‘no thanks’ the IRS would go away) from every productive citizen are allocated by bureaucrats to those deemed needy by the government. There is no choice, no liberty no individual participation or responsibility permitted. Assistance is allocated simply according to government regulations. This has of course, freed  those who so choose to say ” my money is already used to help, so I have no need to do anything myself to help those around me.”

All of this will be compounded with more intrusion of  oppressive government into the sphere of what was previously individual liberty. Everything from exercise habits to diet will come under scrutiny from a government that provides your ‘health care’. There can be absolutely no area excluded from such a government.

None of this crisis mode thinking is about any of the individual topics which the press wants us to pay attention.  The crisis of the week is a diversion. Each new topic brings a frenzy of attention and discussion and much anger. Each new topic distracts from the big picture. These people are simply convinced that only they are smart enough to run your life. The burdens of self government and individual liberty are simply too hard for the people to handle, and so will be lifted from our shoulders and taken by the DC Government. They actually believe a ‘perfect society’ can be created if only they can have all the power and authority to decide how each day to day event should be handled. As long as the enlightened progressives can install their fascist system, they can repair and remake the world into a perfect society. Peace will reign. But remember one thing. One of the most peaceful places in the world is a cemetery.  The only peace their system can guarantee is the peace of the dead.

There are two books which I suggest you find time to read. Liberal Fascism, by Jonah Goldberg is one.  The other is Liberty and Tyranny by Mark Levin. Each of these will give a greater understanding of the history of such systemic attempts to crush liberty. Each will provide enough information to let you see clearly the true goals of all of this.  Understanding is the first step to thwarting the dangerous plans which are being implemented now. Make time to read, then make the effort to speak out to thwart this incredibly dangerous agenda.  Now is the time, now is the moment.  Don’t wait or you will be ‘cared for’ completely by your federal bureaucrats. Cared for, and controlled.

Keep the Faith!

Window Wars

Posted by revkharma on July 30, 2009

The recent post about the execrable Senator Lindsey Graham prompted a few interesting comments. One mentioned ‘The Window War” A long time ago I think I had read that, and did not even catch it’s repost in February.

Here is a link to a wonderful story, posted on Sipsey Street Irregulars, by Mike Vanderboegh. I encourage you to spend a few minutes and read it. Be careful, as always no one is being encouraged or enticed to do anything even remotely against any laws. We’re all good, law abiding citizens.

Now, go read and enjoy.

Senator Grahamnesty Strikes Again

Posted by revkharma on July 29, 2009

So, the Senate Judiciary committee has sent the nomination of Judge Sonia Sotomayor to the full Senate for approval. The Wise Latina Woman ( I still wonder if it’s possible to be a wise Latina man–perhaps the lgbt crowd can dig into that one) received a single vote from a republican. Well, at least a person who serves with a letter ‘R’ after his name.  Recall when the hearings commenced one senator who said something like ” barring a total meltdown, we can expect you to be confirmed”. Senator Lindsey Graham has once more shown the way to cross the aisle and hand not just a numeric victory but a strategic victory to the leftists in power in this country.

Judge Sotomayor has said that it is at the appellate court level that legal policy is made. Of course she made joking retractions once she realized she was being recorded, but her intent is clear.  On the appeals court level, all her decisions are subject to review by the US Supreme Court, as well as being restricted by precedent. Once she is seated on the Supreme Court, there is no further review. The Congress has proved itself unwilling and incapable of exercising any Constitutional oversight of the Supreme Court. They have realized that by permitting the courts to make the calls they want made, congress can escape culpability in the eyes of the voters. This is why the makeup of the Supreme Court is so important. This is why it must be guarded. This is why it was important for Senate opponents of the policies of the current administration to stand on principles and resist , even in the face of inevitable loss, the appointment of yet another opponent of the clear and original intent of the founders to the Supreme Court.

Lindsey Graham won election to replace the late Strom Thurmond. Much can be said of ‘ Ol Strom’ but at least he harbored no expansionist views of the government.  Graham assumed his mantle, publicly identifying his campaign that way. Once in office he has followed his idol Senator John McCain in pursuing accommodation  with the opposing party in a way which could make Vichy Frenchmen proud.

For years many have said the problem in government is the incumbent crowd. Once in office, politicians simply go along, and do whatever will keep them seated in DC. Here is a clear case.  If ever there was a time for those who call themselves ‘Conservatives’ to stand firm, this is it. If ever there was a time for those who cherish the ideals of the Constitution to stand up, this is it.  If you have ever said, ” It’s time to throw the bums out!” it is clearly time to stand firm and have the courage of your convictions. Don’t hide behind party loyalty any more. Putting party first only puts the country second.

From this moment I will work and will encourage and drive and shout and cajole for Senator Lindsey Graham to be voted out of office. Regardless of the costume, I will cast a vote for whoever seems most likely to defeat him in the next vote for his seat in the United States Senate. I will seek the most likely person to uphold true and realistic Constitutional principles. But, should it come to a choice between Senator Lindsey Grahamnesty and some hack wearing a donkey suit, this time the donkey gets my vote. After all, what will be the effective difference? Graham and his deal making pals have essentially supported the Dems anyhow.

It is time for change. If you are in office, you should be turned out. Graham MUST go.

Look Away, Ignore The Man Behind The Curtain. ( again)

Posted by revkharma on July 16, 2009

There is so much smoke and mirrors, we never know where to look. When something truly important is happening, most of the people in this nation are too distracted to see what’s going on. This is by design. If the people who paid the bills knew what they were paying for, they would be outraged.

The most recent examples:

A couple of weeks ago, all media attention was focused on the ‘Michael Jackson Funeral’ seemingly the most important news on the planet. While that was covered end to end, all the 24 hour news channels wall to wall, the house slammed a  thousand page ‘climate change’ Cap and Trade bill through with barely a comment from anyone. At the last moment, a three hundred page amendment was also put in place. This contained payoff money to just enough legislators to buy their complicity in robbing their constituents.
In fact, the ‘bill’ that was voted on did not actually exist. There was no single printed version of ANYTHING. But this momentous legislation was forced through with little notice.
This week we have the glorious spectacle of ‘hearings’ into the nomination of a clearly radical jurist to the Supreme Court of the United States. We are focused on her ‘Wise Latina’ quote. All the supposed ‘right wing’ media are screaming about that. All attention is on that throw away line. With barely a few sentences this canard can be dismissed and ignored. Then the legal geniuses like Lindsay ‘Grahamnesty’ from South Carolina can agree that barring a ‘meltdown’ he will vote to confirm her. After all, she’s not really a racist or a bigot. That would be the worst possible thing we could do to the Supreme Court.

The real issue is her appeal to international law to drive the Supreme Court.  IN Roper v. Simmons, and Lawrence v. Texas:

Judge Sotomayor said, the court was using the foreign or international law to “help us understand what the concepts meant to other countries and . . . whether our understanding of our own constitutional rights fell into the mainstream of human thinking.

Another dangerous area will be Second Amendment law. Judge Sotomayor, has generally found the right to bear arms is NOT a fundamental right. Legally this view holds that such rights do not pre-exist the Constitution, and thus can be regulated. In a ruling in a NY case about martial arts weapons, her ruling displayed such views. From Volokh,  here are details:

In other words, the Second Amendment is not “a fundamental right.” The Sotomayor panel could have offered a legal explanation for why (in the panel’s opinion) nunchaku are not “arms” within the meaning of the Second Amendment, and therefore a mere rational basis test for nunchaku bans is appropriate. But the Sotomayor court did not do so. To the contrary, the Sotomayor per curiam opinion treats any Second Amendment claim as not involving “a fundamental right.”

broadly held internationalist theory, combined with her incredibly restrictive views on the Second Amendment it is clear the real danger is not her views on ‘wise latina’s’ but her views on the US Constitution. But we will not hear much discussion of that. Once more we are told where to look, lest we see the freight train headed our way.

As important as that is, even THIS is something of a distraction.
While we watch the dog and pony show in the Senate committee room, the house and senate are once more ramming a bill through. This time it is to alter finally and fundamentally the economic liberty of every American. The takeover of our health care system by the federal government will be a complete alteration of the political and economic system of the USA. Once the Federal Government is installed as the guarantor and arbiter of each individuals medical care, we will cease to be actual citizens, and will become subjects. The level of control which can be exerted on an individual when the government controls the payment for and allocation of all medical treatment is beyond comprehension. There is no area of life which cannot conceivably be regulated by the government in the ‘interest of controlling medical costs.’ Everything from the food you eat to the job you hold, to your after hours hobbies can affect your health. If a central federal authority is ‘paying for your health care’ it can regulate, and dictate any and all activities which impact that cost, as it is now a federal interest. By legislating mandatory participation, they can then legislate mandatory regulation.
But the news is watching the Sotomayor hearings.
Funny how that works out, isn’t it.
We are about to– no we have ALREADY run off the rails. We are not the same country I grew up in.

Washington Bled to death. Will History Repeat Once More?

Posted by revkharma on July 1, 2009

In December, 1799 at the age of 67 retired President George Washington was riding his property, inspecting and marking trees to be cut. Washington was reportedly still in fine health, a physically strong and strong willed man, full of vigor.

While he rode the weather changed, and he continued to ride in rain and snow and freezing temperatures. From his own diary of the day he reports:

Morning cloudy, wind at northeast and mercury at 33. A large circle around the moon last night. About 10:00 it began to snow, soon after hail and then a settled rain. Mercury at 28 at night

He returned home, retaining his wet, cold clothing.  He grew hoarse, his throat raw and irritated. That night he awoke, feeling ill. The following morning he instructed his aide to ‘bleed him’ a procedure common at the time, and one which Mr. Washington believed would help relieve his distress. At Washington’s directions, his aide removed somewhere less than a pint of blood from the great man’s vein.

During the next days several physicians attended President Washington, continuing to follow the practice of bloodletting attempting to rid him of the affliction which weakened Mr. Washington. Sources put the amount to be in the range of  5-7 pints of blood removed from his body.

One of the physicians attending to the former president proposed:

that the President’s worsening respiratory condition made it imperative that his trachea be perforated. This newly described procedure, attempted as a last therapeutic resort, had been reported to save the lives of patients in extremis. Both Drs Craik and Brown decided against permitting Dr Dick to perform this procedure even though the latter assured them that he would assume all responsibility in case of unfavorable outcome. Dr Dick subsequently noted in a personal correspondence: “I proposed to perforate the trachea as a means of prolonging life and of affording time for the removal of the obstruction to respiration in the larynx which manifestly threatened speedy resolution.”

Accompanied by various poultices and applications of salves, the medical treatment was unhelpful. George Washington died December 14, 1799. There has been much written analyzing the medical treatment.  Practices which seem barbaric to us were commonplace at the time.  However there is a general consensus that Mr. Washington succumbed to asphyxiation from a throat infection, and his condition was severely weakened by the shock of removing nearly half his blood at the same time.  Speculation abounds that had he not been bled, he may have survived the infection. To any modern medical observer, in fact to just about any layman, the practice of removing blood seems wholly dangerous.

In the spring of 2008 the United States began to suffer from economic crises. The bloated housing market was beginning to collapse, creating a ripple throughout the economy in ways unexpected by government economic experts.  As the ‘housing crisis’ worsened, it infected the financial markets, causing investment companies, insurance firms and banks to shudder and those which were weakest began to collapse. The US Treasury and the Federal Reserve formulated a plan, and began to print more and more money, pumping funds into the economy, lending it to various struggling financial industry powerhouses. Despite running near record budget deficits, the US Government borrowed more and more money to finance the expansion of government aid to weakened companies.

As the Bush administration exited, the Obama administration entered the scene. Looking at what had been done Obama, and his Treasury Secretary decided that not enough had been done. (The Treasury Secretary had been a principle architect of the first bailout) The economy continued to stumble, growing weaker and weaker. This was the justification for much more bailout on an amplified scale. The Obama Administration ran up current budget deficits which dwarfed all previous such overspending. In his first proposed budget Mr. Obama has,in one year, exceeded the deficit spending of the previous SEVEN years of the Bush administration. His proposed deficit spending in fact will eclipse that of all previous administrations combined from G Washington to GW Bush.

Such inflationary spending will sap the energy of the US as surely as the bloodletting did of George Washington. Rather than look at the facts, the government is merely following outdated, and dangerous economic treatments. Continuing to run such deficits and expanding the debt in a time of global economic weakness is not far from continuing to bleed the president, while newer treatments, such as  surgical opening the trachea could save him. Solidifying the currency rather than draining the lifeblood would be a better prescription.

Make no mistake, our economy is dangerously weak. The remedies being applied are akin to continued bleeding. We continue to manufacture currency with nothing to back it. As more and more money is printed, the fiat currency in circulation becomes more and more diluted, essentially valueless. The inflationary policies of the Federal Reserve, abetted by the US Treasury department’s  continued profligate spending on various ‘bailout’ and ‘stimulus’ packages weaken the economic body of the nation to the point where we will be unable to sustain ourselves. The continued selling of federal debt to foreign nations will choke us off as surely as an infected trachea choked George Washington.  Inflationary currency practices drain the lifeblood of the economy.  We are being bled to death while we choke on the political schemes of Obama and his allies as they attempt to fundamentally change the nature of our Republic.

The danger is carefully hidden from view, and shrouded in deception. Evan as unemployment continues to rise ( Remember the promise that if we enacted the ‘stimulus bill’ we would not see unemployment rise over 8%?) we are told that things are somehow improving. Look at reports today. The headline on a CNN report reads as follows:

Job market shows some improvement

While the actual text of the story reads this way:

The pace of U.S. job losses has slowed but the labor market is expected to remain weak, according to reports released Wednesday.

Automatic Data Processing, a payroll-processing firm, said private-sector employers cut 473,000 jobs in June, a 2.5% improvement from the revised 485,000 drop in May.

The June job cut total was more than expected. Economists surveyed by Briefing.com had forecast a loss of 394,000 jobs last month.

Don’t worry, all the blood being lost is a good thing, really.

I don’t know about you, but I think it’s time to find another doctor. Time for Obama and his crew in congress to stop before we die from all this helpful treatment they are giving us. Perhaps a tracheotomy, rather than bleeding, might have saved George Washington. Perhaps a sound dollar, based on something real rather than fiat currency, will save the American Economy. We can at least attempt it. Uncle Sam grows pale from his blood loss as we watch.

Keep the Faith
